Bible affirmations for success are the perfect way to gain more motivation and stay on course for what God has planned for you.
One of the most powerful affirmations on this list is:
Psalm 20:4-5 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
I suggest picking no more than 5 of these affirmations that stick out to you the most and use them daily.
Without further ado here are the best bible affirmations for success as well as a guide on the best way to use them!
What Are Affirmations?
I know a lot of people have been talking about affirmations but what really are affirmations?
To affirm something is to state something to be true so affirmations are positive statements you are saying to be true.
But the big deal over affirmations is that when you use them to motivate, inspire, or encourage you, you can actually change your life.
This happens because when you repeat your affirmations each day, you inevitably put yourself in a different (ideally better) headspace.
Of course, the first few days you start to use bible affirmations for success you may not notice an immediate change, but over time you will start to notice a shift within your mindset.
You start to push yourself outside of your comfort zone or you start to challenge your limiting beliefs more and more.
And we all know how the saying goes, change always starts from within. If you want to change your life you have to change within first. Change is not always easy or pleasant, so one of the best ways to ease into this process is by using affirmations.
Ideally, you want to use your bible verses about success at least once a day, each day. I would be lying if I said that there won’t be days where you forget or just don’t feel like saying them.
I would also be lying if I said you won’t feel silly when you first start using your affirmations, because you probably will.
Good thing there are multiple ways you can use affirmations!

How To Use Bible Affirmations For Success
How you use your affirmations may vary and this is because of two reasons.
One, not everything is for everyone, and two, what you need can and probably will change throughout the seasons of your life.
If saying your affirmations out loud works better for you one week and writing them down works better for you the next week then that’s totally fine.
The thing you want to remain consistent is that you’re using them almost every day. Here are some of the best ways to use bible verses on success.
1. Say Your Bible Affirmations For Success Out Loud
Saying your bible affirmations for success out loud is extremely beneficial because it makes the experience more real.
According to Martha Tesema on The Shine App, “Research has shown that talking to yourself out loud can motivate you to move forward with your goals, help you focus on a task at hand, and combat self-criticism.”
It’s not a must to say your affirmations out loud, but if you do it will greatly help you.
And if you’re worried about feeling silly or embarrassed, know that that will subside.
When I started saying my daily affirmations I would say them where I knew no one could hear me.
2. Write Your Bible Quotes For Success
Another great way to use your bible affirmations for success is to write them down. While this method may not be as beneficial as saying them out loud, it is still a great alternative.
Sometimes you can’t access a quiet space alone or you may just have the urge to write your affirmations while you’re journaling in the morning.
I know for myself sometimes I don’t want to say them out loud, and I don’t really have any reason other than I don’t feel like it. That’s okay too.
Regardless, the end goal is the same.
You want to remind yourself of the things that are important to you and remain focused on what will uplift your spirits.
3. Visualize Before, During, Or After Your Bible Affirmations For Success
Visualization is an extremely powerful tool that I recommend using with your bible affirmations for success.
The art of visualization is simple; it’s to imagine your goals. Some of you may be thinking what good is that going to do?
Well, it has been proven there isn’t much difference in your mind between when you are imagining something and if it has actually happened..
So when you visualize day in and day out, you are training your mind to function in a way it once did not function.
This is a very simplified explanation of a process called neuroplasticity. If you want to learn more about this check out my article on why visualization is the most powerful manifestation tool.
Pro Tip: The Best Way To Visualize Is To:
- Go somewhere quiet
- Set a timer for at least 2 minutes
- Close your eyes
- Take a few deep breaths
- Imagine your goals in detail
4. Put Your Bible Affirmations For Success On Your Vision Board
Another great manifestation tool is vision boards! A few reasons why I love and highly recommend vision boards is because they’re fun, cheap, easy to make and highly effective.
The objective of using vision boards is to keep your goals at the front of your mind through imagery.
It’s not a must to pair a vision board with your bible affirmations for success, but it is very nice to use.
I personally have a few affirmations on my vision board and I like to go back to them when I’m in times of doubt or stress.
So, now that we know what affirmations are and how to use them, let’s get into the best bible affirmations!

Important Reminder On Bible Affirmations For Success
Using bible affirmations for success will not be much different from how you use any other affirmations.
The only difference is that you have a choice of using the direct scripture or saying an affirmation version of this. To show you what I mean by this, I have included affirmations under some of the scriptures.
The reason why you may want one over the other just comes down to personal preference.
I prefer using affirmations because that’s what speaks to me the most, and I have a hard time remembering the exact scripture if I’m being honest with you.
You may feel otherwise, or you may feel the same as me. There is no right or wrong answer.
What matters is that you choose at least 3-5 of the affirmations that move you the most. If you can only find 1 or 2 that’s cool too. I don’t recommend going over 5, though.
If you do happen to like more than 5 bible affirmations for success, then of course feel free to make note of them.
I want to also mention that this scripture is from the book of New Living Translation. Now, without further ado, let’s get into the best bible verses about success.
