How to Manifest Your Period
1. Visualize Yourself Getting Your Period
You already know what it’s like to get your period (unless you’ve never had your period before, which if this were the case I would enjoy not having a menstrual cycle for as long as you can because once it’s here, it’s here to stay. That is until menopause).
Anyways, since you already know what it’s like to get your period, it shouldn’t be too difficult to visualize you getting your period.
Get specific with it.
- How will you feel when you get your period? Will you feel relieved or excited?
- Is it heavy or light this month?
- Are you cramping, bloated, or exhausted?
- How does it feel when you get one of those butthole cramps?
- Are you having more or less mood swings this month?
- Are you craving something salty or sweet?
- Who is getting on your nerves the most?
- What are you not looking forward to when you get your period?
- Are you going to try out a different kind of tampon this time
Imagine yourself getting your period and focus on how you feel when you get it. Hold onto those feelings and trust that it will come soon. Which leads me to my next point.
2. Trust and Believe You Will Manifest Your Period
You need to trust the process. A big part of manifestation is trust.
If you don’t believe, then why should you receive?
Many people make the mistake of taking that first step of looking up what they want to manifest, so in this case looking up “how to manifest your period”, imagine how it would feel, and then do absolutely nothing afterward.
Don’t be this person.
You have to believe. You would be surprised at how much believing something can change your entire reality.
A perfect example is this 2014 study. 66 participants were asked to take a pill for their migraine episode; they were given the placebo pill or Maxalt, their regular migraine medicine.
The participants were unaware which was the placebo, and which one was the Maxalt pill; some of the bottles were labeled “placebo” “Maxalt” or “neutral”. 30 minutes into their migraine episode, the participants rated their pain, took their pill (either the placebo or Maxalt), and then rated their pain again after 2.5 hours.
When the study was over, researchers found that the Maxalt pills that were labeled as placebo provided almost the same amount of relief as the placebo that was labeled as Maxalt.
So, if you can trick your mind into relieving itself of a migraine, without actual medication for it, just by convincing yourself that you’re taking something that is going to help it then why can’t you manifest your period?
Our minds are a lot more powerful than we give them credit for, so don’t underestimate the power of believing.
3. Journal About What You’re Feeling
You will not learn how to manifest your period if you are resistant.
How do I know if I’m being resistant? What is being resistant?
Being resistant is when your desires don’t match up with your feelings. So, let’s say for example, you want to learn how to manifest your soulmate but all you do is complain, stay bitter, and be hateful. You’re resistant to your desires; what you want doesn’t match up with how you feel or act.
So, in this case, if you want to successfully learn how to manifest your period, then you need to be aligned with the version of you that already has her period.
- What is she craving? Is she craving something salty or sweet?
- What is she wearing ( I know for me sometimes I want to look cute even though I feel like crap and other times I just live in my sweats)? Does she feel like wearing a bra at this point in time?
- What type of activities is she doing? Is she still living her daily life or is she just relaxing?
This kind of goes back to number 1 except there’s a twist. While I want you to be visualizing the version of you that does have her period (in first-person present time), I also want you to be writing down what’s going on right now.
The reason why is because you need to come to terms with how you’re feeling.
It does no good to imagine what you’ll feel when you get your period if you’re not willing to face how you’re feeling right now.
This goes back to you being resistant.
The only way for you to work through your feelings, especially feelings/ thoughts that don’t align with your desires, is by writing it down. It sounds so simple that you could almost skip it, but you shouldn’t.
When you write things down, it forces you to work through your thoughts in an organized fashion. And the better you’re able to organize your thoughts, the more likely you are to stop feeling that way. Well, not stop feeling that way, but more so letting go of those feelings.
Write down what’s going on right now and how that is making you feel. Use some of the questions below to guide you.
- Is your period late, irregular, or both?
- Is there a high possibility that you’re pregnant?
- What can you do right now to figure out if you’re pregnant?
- If there isn’t a possibility you’re pregnant, look back on these last few weeks. Have you been feeling more stressed these last few weeks?
- If you could choose three words to explain how you’re feeling right now, what words would you choose?
- How can you move on from feeling that way?
- Who is someone you can trust that can help you out?
Write it all down, figure out a solution, and leave the rest to God.

4. Be Patient for Your Manifestation
I know you might now want to hear this, but you need to.
Now is not the time for you to be stressing or worrying because all that’s going to do is push you further away from what you want.
You need to be resting in your faith: faith in God and faith in that whatever is meant to happen will happen.
God is not going to let anything happen to you that wasn’t supposed to. Don’t walk around stressed pulling your hair out because that isn’t going to help the situation. Control what you can and let go of the rest.
I know you’re thinking how easy it may be for me to say this since I’m not currently in your situation, but let me tell you; I’ve been right where you are.
I know how you feel. Maybe it wasn’t the exact same circumstances, but trust me I spent about 5 days stressing, crying, and praying that I would get my period because I just knew I couldn’t have a baby with this guy.
But then, after a while, I had no more tears left to cry. All I could do was put my trust and faith in God, and I’m glad I did because everything worked out in my favor; the same way that everything will work out in your favor.
I know you were trying to figure out a way to manifest your period, so you might be wondering why I’m talking about God.
I’ll tell you why.
God has a hand in everything. Everything that goes on down here, God knows about it.
God knew about it before we could even imagine it, so since that’s the case, He also knows what you’re going through. And He is not going to allow something to happen to you that isn’t meant to.
Manifestation has a lot to do with God because manifesting is bringing your thoughts into your reality and since God made that reality that means that He is the one who will assist you in bringing your desires to life.
Keep your trust and faith in God and I promise you will be rewarded for it. Be patient and keep your faith.
5. Be Confident in Manifesting Your Period
- Go ahead and buy your pads or tampons because you’re going to need them.
- Talk and act as if you’re about to get your period.
- Go about life as you would when you’re on your cycle.
- Be delusional.
- Stock up on your period snacks
Here are some of my personal favorites.
- Lindor chocolate
- Ghirardelli chocolate
- Ben & Jerry’s ice cream (they have this new flavor called coffee toffee and it was sent straight from heaven)
- Orange cream popsicles
- Fried anything
- Pickles
- Pigs in a blanket
- Hummus with vegetables or pita chips
- Popcorn (bonus points if you add M&M’s)
Remain confident in the fact you will be getting your period soon. Don’t allow yourself to stay in a state of worry or stress. Do what you can and let go of the rest because what’s meant for you will come to you, no doubt about it.
How Can I Force My Period to Come Tomorrow?
Okay, so you can’t force your period to come specifically tomorrow, but there are some things you can do to make your period come faster.
Things such as the examples below may cause your period to come faster.
- Exercise
- Orgasms
- Relaxing
- Eating foods with Vitamin C
- Pineapple
- Papaya
- Celery
- Broccoli
- Orange
- Bell peppers
- Melon
- Kale
- Kiwi
- Spinach
- Herbs (make your own tea)
- Chamomile
- Parsley
- Cinnamon
- Oregano
- Rosemary
- Sage
Why Is My Period Late?
Your period could be late for many reasons. It could be late due to
- Stress
- Change in diet or weight
- Pregnancy
- Birth control
- PCOS
- Thyroid issues
- Menopause
- Cysts or Fibroids
Your menstrual cycle, much like the rest of your body, is a very complex process. It could be affected by numerous things, so be careful trying to self-diagnose. Your best bet at finding out why your period is late is by visiting your doctor or even better, a gynecologist.
How Long Can Stress Delay Your Period?
Let’s get something out of the way first, your period is considered late if it’s been 5 or more days since you were supposed to get it.
Now, as far as how long it can delay your period, well, it depends on what kind of stress we’re talking about.
If we’re talking about something that recently stressed you out, then it could delay your period by a few days. But, if we’re talking about ongoing stress, it could delay your period by months.
Yes, months.
Our bodies are interconnected which means that one system depends on another, so it’s almost like a domino effect.
You get stressed out, it affects your brain activity and endocrine glands, which signals to your suprarenal glands to release cortisol and adrenaline (stress hormones) into your blood, which affects your hormonal balance, which affects your period.
So, the bottom line is that you need to be extra careful with how much stress you allow in your life, and yes I did say allow because you are somewhat in control of what goes on in your life.
If you’re anything like I was, then you have a bad habit of taking on other people’s issues and this will hurt you more than it will help them. Don’t do this.
Eventually, you have to decide what is not worth keeping in your life, and anything that is causing you stress is not worth keeping. Even if it’s that job that you need to pay the bills, sometimes it’s not all about the money. Sometimes, it’s not worth the stress and you have to be the one who decides what you do with your time.
Focus on things that help you relax rather than trying to save everyone around you.
